Last long brick before Ironman Florida
What’s required to survive riding 100 miles on a trainer followed by 6.5 miles on the treadmill?  Lots of sugar and some caffeine.  Specifically:
1 gallon of Gatorade - 850 calories
6 ViEndurance Gels - 600 calories
1 Right Stuff Electrolyte - 1780 mg sodium
1 Bonk Breaker -  250 calories
1 5-hour Energy Extra Strength 250 mg caffeine
2 Harry Potter DVDs - Mental cotton candy
And of course it helps to have the lovely RunningMyOwnRace riding the trainer beside you.  Tomorrow we have a 3 hour run after which I’ll cut the grass and then try to recover before work on Monday.
I’m definitely looking forward to the taper.
